Ask the questions, challenge the assumptions and create change.
YCAT workshops give participants a safe, facilitated way to explore the questions that can be difficult to ask openly.
Our You Can Ask That workshops are designed to open up the conversations necessary to have to foster respectful relationships, promote gender equality and prevent harassment and abuse. There to provide knowledge, tools and strategies, as well as the space for people of all ages to ask the questions they’ve always wanted to.
Topics can include,
gender stereotypes and social expectations
respectful relationships and consent
recognising warning signs and harmful behaviour
bystander action and peer influence
online cultures and technology-facilitated abuse
seeking help and supporting someone safely.
YCAT can be tailored for young people, workplaces and community audiences. We will recommend a format after discussing the needs of your group.
Before the session, we work with you to understand the participants, learning goals, local context and support arrangements.

Facilitators build the conversation
Facilitators introduce prevention concepts and guide a respectful discussion on the attitudes and behaviours connected with inequality, disrespect, harassment and abuse.
04
Participants leave with practical actions
The session connects learning with choices people can make in relationships, peer groups, workplaces, schools, sporting settings and online.
