Workplace Accreditation

Creating change in workplaces

What We Do

As an independent Workplace Accreditation program, we are committed to help create an environment where women feel safe at work, and men feel empowered to speak up if something doesn’t seem right. We partner with workplaces to provide internal audits of policies, procedures, and culture in relation to women’s safety and gender equality.

Together we determine how well employees understand the issues of domestic violence, affirm practices that nurture a culture of respect, safety and equality and create a continuous commitment to providing a safe environment for all employees.

Workplace practices reflect an organisation’s ethos. From policies on discrimination and harassment to social media policy and staff code of conduct, every structure put into place can help promote equality.

Why We Do It

Workplaces have a critical role in driving social change and ending men’s violence against women.

In Australia, workplaces have legal requirements to provide a safe working environment under the Commonwealth Work Health and Safety Act 2011. Further, there is a requirement for certain workplaces to comply with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012.
