Give your people the confidence to recognise, respond and prevent.

Family and domestic violence affects people across every industry. Workplaces can provide stability and support for employees experiencing violence, while also shaping cultures where equality and respect are expected.

White Ribbon Australia offers training for all staff, people leaders, HR teams, nominated responders and executives.

Would your workplace recognise the signs?

Family and domestic violence does not always stay outside the workplace.

It can affect attendance, performance, wellbeing, safety, communication and team culture. In some cases, the workplace may be one of the few places where signs of abuse become visible.

Your people do not need to be experts. They do need to know what to look for, what to say, what to avoid, and where to refer someone for help.

White Ribbon Australia training gives workplaces practical tools to respond safely and compassionately when family and domestic violence impacts staff, customers or the broader workplace.

YCAT workshops

You can ask that (YCAT) workshops give participants a safe, facilitated way to explore the questions that can be difficult to ask openly.

YCAT’s can be tailored for young people, workplaces and community audiences. We will recommend a format after discussing the needs of your group.

How the workshops work.

Each workshop is tailored to your audience, learning goals and local context. Participants can submit anonymous questions, allowing facilitators to guide a safe, respectful and relevant discussion. The session builds practical knowledge and confidence to recognise harmful behaviours, challenge disrespect and take positive action at work and beyond.

Topics can include gender stereotypes, respectful relationships and consent, warning signs, bystander action, online behaviour, technology-facilitated abuse, seeking help and safely supporting others.
