Welcome to the White Ribbon Australia Youth Advisory Group, a safe space for youths to provide their valuable perspective on how to stop men’s violence against women in all its forms.
The YAG is a safe space designed for open and honest conversations, sharing ideas, and inspiring positive change. It’s a supportive and inclusive group where every voice is valued and equal.
Our Impact
The YAG has just begun, but our group started in January 2023 as a trial and we did some really cool stuff. We helped create a technology facilitated abuse document for the barbershop, commented one the development of White Ribbon Day 2023 and guided White Ribbon Australia on how they engage other youth on social media.
Are you ready to make a difference?
If you’re a young person wanting to join the YAG, you need to meet the following criteria:
Age: You should be between 12 and 15 years old.

Time Commitment: Dedicate
2-4 hours ver month. Include attending a 75-minute online meeting ever & weeks
Time Commitment: Dedicate 2 – 4 hours per month. Including attending a 75-minute online meeting every 8 weeks.
Passion: Share a genuine passion for ending men’s violence against

Term Duration: Your term will be for 2 years, and you can re-apply for an additional 2-year term afterwards.
If you are under the age of 16 years of age, we will need your caregivers’ permission to chat.
